Many of you are asking ‘how does it actually work?‘ when you have some spare computers, monitors and other electronics taking up space in your office or shed and are ready to get rid of them.
So we put together this quick summary of how our collections look like so you know what to expect. And of course, due to the current COVID-19 situation, all our collections are contactless. You can read about things we implemented in our post here.
Collection job described from start to finish
1) Firstly, we request our potential client (you) to fill in a free quote request which can be found on our website here.
This is the quickest way for us to asses what items you have and how we can assist you the best. Of course, if you have an unusual or large job, you can always call us and have a chat with our customer service guys.
2) Once we have your details, we provide you with an obligation free quote including price estimation within 24 hours. Sometimes even quicker! Please do let us know if your job is urgent, we are flexible and always strive to accommodate special requests if we can.
3) If you’re happy to proceed all you need to do is click a button to accept and our Customer Service star Niresh will be in touch swiftly to book a collection or a delivery date.
Do you collect my items or do I have to deliver?
4) You have two options: Collection or Delivery
a) If you’d like us to collect
We check our schedule against your preferred timeframe and book a date suitable for all. On the day, our collection team will call your on-site contact to ensure all agreed details are good to go. You know, the time, place, your items, vehicle access…
b) If you’d like to deliver yourself
If you live nearby or have your own transport, you have the option to drop your old electronics to us. (We ask you not to come unannounced as we can’t accept any unscheduled deliveries.)
Once the delivery date is confirmed we provide you with a reference number. This needs to be quoted to one of our staff on the forklift upon arrival at one of our locations. These are in Welshpool – e-waste site and Canning Vale – IT Asset Management.
Not quite finished yet
After all your items have been picked up, you may sit back and enjoy your new gained space. However, our collection process does not end here!
We love hearing your feedback about your experience with us and finding ways to improve! So please do not forget to fill in our collection feedback form which you’ll receive shortly afterwards.
