WA’s e-waste recycling statistics for September 2019

In September we recycled 48,904 electronic items and recovered 527 wheelie bins of materials. Our recycling numbers are lower for the month of August and September due to our move to a new recycling facility.

Overall in September, we recovered 126,404 Kg of materials. That’s about 527 wheelie bins of material.

In September we recycled a total of 48,904 items. The number of computers peripherals is unusually high due to one of our clients delivering a large number of small bagged parts.

Top items refurbished and repurposed

In September we refurbished 1,574 items. Our recovery rate for laptops was 85.25% meaning that out of 305 laptops we tested we were able to refurbish and re-purpose 260 of them.
