Some interesting facts on Australia’s Electronic Junk problem. E-waste is a big problem for the WA environment with over 70% of the heavy metals in landfills coming from discarded electronics. Such a big problem doesn’t cost the earth to fix, we believe the cost to collect and recycle 100% of Australia’s electronic waste is less than $15/household per year. That’s less than the cost of a pack of batteries.
