Top 10 Regional and Metro E-waste Recycling Councils for 2022

In 2022 we processed 3,286,059 kg of materials and recycled 338,350 items. We have to thank the many Western Australian councils and businesses we service for recycling. Councils come in all sizes, so we worked out the per capita recycling rate based on the most recent census and we’re excited to share the top ten metro and top ten rural councils for e-waste recycling in 2022.

  1. Shire of Toodyay = 2.89kgs per person
  2. Shire of Bridgetown-Greenbushes = 1.75kgs per person
  3. City of Bunbury = 1.73kgs per person
  4. Shire of Denmark = 1.58kgs per person
  5. Shire of Katanning = 1.57kgs per person
  6. City of Busselton = 1.56kgs per person
  7. Shire of Manjimup = 1.48kgs per person
  8. Shire of Esperance = 1.41kgs per person
  9. Shire of Collie = 1.35kgs per person
  10. Shire of Chittering = 1.29kgs per person

  3. City of Armadale = 1.38kgs per person

  5. Western Metropolitan Recycling Council = 0.81kgs per person
  6. City of South Perth = 0.77kgs per person
  7. City of Kalamunda = 0.69kgs per person
  8. City of Bayswater = 0.51kgs per person
  9. City of Cambridge = 0.32kgs per person
  10. City of Cockburn = 0.43kgs per person
